Metal spiral wound gaskets with excellent resilience can automatically adjust the pressure thermal cycle and vibration of pipeline systems, especially suitable for situations with uneven loads, easy relaxation of bonding forces, periodic changes in temperature and pressure, and impacts or vibrations. It is a static sealing component for flange connections such as valves, pumps, heat exchangers, towers, manholes, and handholes, widely used in departments such as petrochemical, mechanical, electrical, metallurgical, shipbuilding, pharmaceutical, atomic energy, and aerospace. For the convenience of installation in the appearance design of flange gaskets, 2 to 8 positioning straps are welded on the periphery of the gasket according to the diameter of the gasket, so that the positioning straps are buckled on the flange hole to prevent the gasket from shifting or falling off during installation, saving auxiliary materials and labor. Generally, they are divided into the following types: high-quality SUS304, SUS316 ("V" or "W" shaped) metal straps and other alloy materials are used for metal wound gaskets, and graphite, asbestos, PTFE Non asbestos and other soft materials are alternately overlapped and spiral wound, and the metal strip is fixed by spot welding at the beginning and end. Metal coated pad

Metal clad gasket refers to a composite gasket that uses non-metallic materials such as flexible graphite, asbestos rubber sheet, ceramic fiber, etc. internally, and metal sheets coated with a specific cold working process externally. According to the gasket cross-section, it is usually divided into two types: flat type coating and corrugated type coating. It is the most traditional type of sealing gasket and is suitable for sealing heat exchangers, pressure vessels, pumps, valves, and flange surfaces.

The advantages of metal coated gaskets are high strength, non fragility, and firmness, but limited rebound force. It is necessary to have a flat flange surface and high tightening force to achieve good results (which can be improved and coated with graphite plate). According to different materials, it can be combined into various forms such as 201, 304, and 316 stainless steel wrapped graphite (temperature resistance 650 degrees) wrapped gaskets, asbestos wrapped gaskets, ceramic fiber wrapped gaskets (1400 degrees) wrapped gaskets, and so on.

Improvement of the wrapped gasket: To improve the sealing effect, the outer layer can be pasted with flexible graphite sheet.

Coating gasket is selected based on temperature resistance. Coating material: graphite - temperature resistance 650, corrosion resistance; Ceramic fiber - temperature resistant HA1200; HZ-1600.
