Asbestos pads are made from asbestos fibers and rubber as the main raw materials, supplemented by rubber compounding agents and fillers, through mixing and stirring, hot roll forming, vulcanization and other processes. Asbestos fiber gaskets can be divided into ordinary rubber gaskets and oil resistant asbestos rubber gaskets based on their formula, process performance, and usage. Suitable for sealing of water, steam, oils, solvents, moderate acids, and alkalis, applied in sealing of medium and low pressure flange connections. The most commonly used thickness is 3MM-5MM.
purpose
Suitable for sealing the tank opening, manhole, handhole, boiler handhole, smoke box belt, and steam ball of the reaction kettle.
The products are applied in various fields such as chemical industry (pharmaceuticals, pesticides, fertilizers, dyes, polymers, intermediates, etc.), petroleum, electronics, machinery, power, environmental protection, etc
However, it is internationally recognized that asbestos is a carcinogen. In the 1970s, many countries proposed non asbestos plans. After more than 20 years of effort, countries such as the United States, Japan, and Australia have successively developed various series of non asbestos gasket materials. In 1990, the US Environmental Protection Agency EPA issued government regulations prohibiting the use of asbestos materials and their products. Nowadays, advanced countries in the world have promoted non asbestos materials to various application fields and completely prohibited asbestos materials.
Asbestos pads belong to the gasket series.

Classification specifications
Made from asbestos fiber and rubber as the main raw materials, supplemented by rubber compounding agents and fillers, through mixing, stirring, hot roll forming, vulcanization and other processes. Asbestos rubber gaskets can be divided into ordinary asbestos rubber gaskets and oil resistant asbestos rubber gaskets based on their formula, process performance, and usage. According to the temperature and pressure used, it can be divided into low-pressure asbestos rubber gaskets, medium pressure asbestos rubber gaskets, and high-pressure asbestos rubber gaskets. Suitable for sealing water, steam, oils, solvents, moderate acids, and alkalis, asbestos gaskets are mainly used in sealing medium and low pressure flange connections.
Low pressure asbestos gasket (G2183): Low pressure asbestos gasket is made of a white chrysotile asbestos fiber, suitable for most low-temperature and low-pressure needs. Asbestos gaskets are mainly used for sealing steam, water, gas, oil, and non corrosive media.
Medium pressure asbestos gasket (G2182): mainly used for sealing steam, hydraulic, gas, oil, and non corrosive media.
High pressure asbestos gasket (G2181): mainly used for sealing steam, hydraulic, gas, oil, and non corrosive media.
Oil resistant asbestos gasket (G2184): mainly used for sealing steam, hydraulic, gas, oil solvents, and non corrosive media.
Asbestos rubber gasket refers to a gasket product composed of asbestos and rubber, used in liquid sealing environments. The manufacturing of asbestos rubber gaskets, in addition to asbestos fibers and rubber, also adds additives, fillers, and other substances, which are made through mixing, stirring, hot roll forming, and vulcanization processes, and have good sealing performance.
