Carbon rubber is a type of rubber that incorporates fluorine into its molecular structure, and its properties vary based on the fluorine content and monomer structure. The well-known brand DuPont produces a widely used fluorine rubber. High-temperature resistant silicone rubber exhibits excellent chemical resistance, resistance to most oils and solvents, as well as weather and ozone resistance. However, it has relatively poor cold resistance, with a recommended temperature range for general use of -20 to 250 ℃. With a special formula, it can withstand temperatures as low as -40 ℃.

An O-ring made of fluororubber, commonly referred to as a fluororubber O-ring, is a circular product manufactured from fluororubber material. With the advancement of various industries, fluororubber O-rings have found extensive applications in precision-driven environments such as automobiles, electronics, and ships, where high temperature resistance, exceptional wear resistance, and durability under harsh conditions are required. As industries continue to evolve, the fluororubber material itself undergoes constant improvement and innovation. The following section outlines the properties and applications of widely utilized fluororubber materials.
