The graphite self sealing ring is made of low sulfur expanded graphite by molding, with precise size, adjustable density, and no external fillers or adhesives. Graphite with a purity greater than 98% does not require further anti-corrosion treatment. In general, the cross-section of the packing ring is square, can also be wedge-shaped or V-shaped, and the latter two are suitable for high-pressure parts.
Enhanced graphite self sealing ring is made of pure flexible graphite by molding, lined with metal, and reinforced with stainless steel foil, mesh or other materials. Having the various characteristics of swollen graphite, it can withstand intense temperature and pressure fluctuations, making it an ideal packing material for valves and various static seals. In addition to preventing severe damage to the valve stem, it can be used alone or in combination with the JJ-771 high carbon fiber packing end ring to prevent packing extrusion.
Graphite has unique characteristics that cannot be replaced by other metal materials, such as conductivity, good thermal conductivity, and excellent corrosion resistance. Its selection as a sealing material also has its own unique characteristics. Carbon graphite rings have characteristic physical and mechanical functions such as high temperature resistance, self-lubricating, low conflict coefficient, wear resistance, and low coefficient of thermal expansion. Therefore, graphite sealing rings can be seen in various industrial sectors such as papermaking, textiles, pharmaceuticals, and military industry. Moreover, graphite blocks can not only be used as sealing rings for graphite, but can also be used as various graphite processing parts in other professions.
